    Looking to Move to Hiltonia

My fiance and I are looking to buy a house in the Trenton/Ewing area. We love homes with historic value and of course Hiltonia is high up on our list for neighborhoods to live in. No kids yet (we are in our late 20's)  but we would be sending them to catholic school no matter where we live so the public schools are not an issue (but they could be if we would have to sell later.) Any thoughts, feelings, opinions on living in Hiltonia, safety issues, neighborhood life in general? I would especially would like to hear from anyone that has lived in any other neighborhoods in Trenton or Ewing. Feel free to private message/email me if you'd like mdytko80@yahoo.com. Thank you!!

The best way to answer all of these questions is to come out to a neighborhood meeting. There's one tomorrow night! Look for a post in the blogs with details.

Having lived in several nearby communities (Pennington, Ewing, Hightstown, Yardley), the one thing that Hiltonia has over ALL of them is a strong sense of community. I went years before I had met all of the neighbors that lived around me in my last neigborhood (Mt. View section of Ewing). In Hiltonia, I had met every neighbor that bordered my property (and then some!) within just a couple of days.

Thanks marc! Unfortunately we can't make it tomorrow but I will keep me eye out for the next one. That is what I find most appealing (in addition to the homes and park) about Hiltonia, the idea of community :)
